Change up your Room

In this post I wanted to show you the other sitting room
that we changed up.
This room was connected to the living room featured
in my last couple of posts.

The room at the back is the one we changed up.
This is the BEFORE.
The two couches used to be one big sectional in the living room.
We separated it and put one in each space.

AFTER
The room has much better seating and makes for a nice place to gather.

This room BEFORE had just the large chair, so there was really no room for anyone else to sit down and have a conversation.
(the photo shows the part of the sectional after we moved it in)

We moved the computer hutch in the other corner, and made a nice display on the top.

We placed the shelving in the other corner and filled it with a few accessories.  Notice the lamp behind the chair, we also added a few natural elements on the shelf.  We brought in a couple of pillows and throw blankets to make the space more cozy.

The client had some vinyl lettering on the wall and we decided to leave it and just add the painting at the far end.  It is different, but I think it works!

Having the chair and the sofa in the room made it much more useful.  It is now a place that the family can gather.

A few accessories on the shelf --- and it adds to the comfortable feeling of the room.

I am Joining at Met Monday --- there are some great blogs to look at!

I love the new look of both rooms. I really like the wall lettering with a simple picture at the end. Very nice.
