Arranging Photos on the Wall

Okay, Life is wonderful! . . . and I have not forgotten you all.  Here is a little post for today ---

One example of how to group some framed photos.

The spacing between the frames is about the same width, with the FAMILY centered at the top.

Try a grouping at your house!

Hi Angela! Oh, this is a very nice looking arrangement! I had a wall, almost, of family photos hanging in our hall and just took them all down. Maybe I would have left them up if they had looked this good! :)

    Hi Angela,

Can you discuss what is considered too many photos or not enough? Years ago, a realtor told me I had too many pictures. This made me sensitive. I now have very few pictures hanging in my house.

    Thanks!

Usually when a realtor is telling you you have to many pictures on the wall it is because they are trying to help you to sell your house. The house is the product for sale and if there is too much of your stuff on the walls it is more difficult for the buyer to imagine that space as their own.

Now when this is your own space that you are living in--you can do it however you want! But if you do arrange photos or art on the wall it does look nicer if it is arranged in a group rather than evenly spread across the whole wall.

So give it a try and hang up some beautiful groups!
