We just painted and redesigned this Family Room.
It needed to have something larger to put on this wall --- so we decided to take a number of smaller items and create a grouping.
Here is the BEFORE --- the wall that the grouping is now on
is where the entertainment center is in this photo.
AFTER ---
We took out a number of items and decluttered. The paint really added some warmth.
See how nice the grouping works on the right wall.
It feels like a whole different room!
When you need to fill a larger space on a wall, it works to take a number of framed photos and artwork or other items of interest and place them together as a group rather than spread them across the wall.
With this group we added a wreath which is more 3 dimensional and adds some texture and interest. We also found two metal frames that had similar design.
I layed them out on the floor and tried different arrangements. Once I decided on the one I liked the best we just hung it on the wall!
Try GROUPINGS when you need to fill a larger space rather than placing one framed picture on the wall or trying to spread out a few that are just too small.

You can make your bathroom feel better by doing ONE thing ---
and it does not matter what style you have.
Add a Natural Element to your Bathroom!
It can be as simple as a vase of flowers.
This is the perfect time of year to pick a few blooms from your yard.
Or maybe you want to be a little more exotic and have some tropical touches.
See what a difference that little bit of pink makes.
This bathroom has a pot of flowers and a plant on the floor.
This is a very easy way to make your bathroom FEEL better.
See what you can do with yours!

My sweet husband who loves computers has changed out our operating system and I am having difficulties getting to my photos. These are a few that I could get---
This is a bathroom in my new home.
I took most of the decor items that I used in a bathroom in my last home and added them here. So I did not buy anything new.
I was really into framed leaf art, sometime I will show you more.
It was a rather natural theme.
But the wall color in my last house was gold.
There will soon be a nice warm brown on the walls here.
( I will post photos after the job is done).
Here is the BEFORE.
Bathrooms can feel so cold!
What helped to make the difference in the FEEL of this bathroom is:
A fabric shower curtain
(Fabric) --Softens the space and absorbs sound.
Towels (Fabric)
A pot of pussy willows
--Picked from my neighbors yard years ago ( Natural Element)
Little lamps
with candles in them ( Lighting)--Creates a warm cozy feeling.
See how by simply adding:
Lighting
Fabric
&
Natural elements
You can make any room in your house FEEL better!
Go and try it for yourself!

Okay, Life is wonderful! . . . and I have not forgotten you all. Here is a little post for today ---
One example of how to group some framed photos.
The spacing between the frames is about the same width, with the FAMILY centered at the top.
Try a grouping at your house!
